Census Bureau Opens Job Line

The Census Bureau has launched a critical national effort for every person in our nation to “Be Counted” in the 2010 Census that will affect the apportionment of congressional seats, and how the federal government annually allocates $300 billion in federal assistance to communities.
Operations have already begun and the Census Bureau needs to recruit hundreds of workers in the Royse City area to ensure a complete and accurate count in 2010.

2010 Census Positions Available, your community is counting on you.
Every 10 years the census bureau conducts a census of our population. The results help determine your representation in government, as well as how federal funds are spent in your community.
Census Employees can earn good pay on a weekly basis. In addition, you will be reimbursed for authorized mileage and related expenses. Throughout Texas pay rate is between $8.00 and $19.25 per hour depending on position and location. You must be a US citizen 18 years of age or older.

The testing will be held at City Hall in the Mellody Room, 304 N. Arch St., Royse City, Texas.
